Citi Homes Windows is a CPA Approved Craftsman, accredited by the Consumer Protection Association. The accreditation is given to companies that meet the CPA’s standards for quality, professionalism, and customer service, and is subject to ongoing monitoring.

As part of the accreditation, our work is backed by guarantees of up to 10 years, and customers receive an Insurance Backed Guarantee.

How It Works

Choosing Citi Homes Windows as your CPA Approved Craftsman means the following applies to your project:

  1. CPA Approved Craftsman: We have been through a selection process covering professionalism, reliability, and quality of work, and are monitored on an ongoing basis.
  2. Guarantee for up to 10 years: Once installation is complete, the work can be guaranteed for up to 10 years through an Insurance Backed Guarantee.
  3. Cover in place: Your guarantee is documented and protected. If we cease trading, the IBG ensures your cover remains in place.

Insurance Backed Guarantee

Alongside our own written guarantee, every customer receives an Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG). This covers you if Citi Homes Windows ceases trading and is unable to honour the terms of the guarantee.

Where we are registered as a competent person scheme installer, the IBG also covers the cost of rectifying any breach of building regulations, should we no longer be trading. The IBG is arranged by CPA Consumer Guard Ltd and underwritten by a specialist insurer.

Activating Your Guarantee

The IBG must be registered within 28 days of completion. You are not covered until registration is complete.

To register:

  • Go to www.insure.thecpa.co.uk
  • Enter your installer’s membership number – we will provide this on completion
  • Enter your email address
  • Complete all fields and click Finalise Application
  • A PDF copy of your policy will be emailed to you shortly after

About the Insurance Provider

The IBG is arranged by CPA Consumer Guard Ltd, an insurance intermediary regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The Consumer Protection Association is an appointed representative of CPA Consumer Guard Ltd. FCA firm reference number: 306009. This can be verified at register.fca.org.uk or by calling the FCA on 0800 111 6768.

No fee is charged to you for arranging the IBG. It is provided on a non-advised basis, matched to the details of your installation.
